The Regency is a uniquely voiced instrument that combines the attributes of both semi-hollow body and solid body basses. Its asymmetrical bodystyle is extremely well-balanced for both standing and sitting positions. The 33-fret extended range fingerboard provides additional upper register for soloing. The string spacing is wide and the scale lengths are optimal for each string configuration. The single soapbar pickup can be split to increase its sonic versatility.
