The Regency NTVII is a uniquely voiced instrument that combines the attributes of both semi-hollow body and solid body basses. Its asymmetrical bodystyle is extremely well-balanced for both standing and sitting positions. The 33-fret extended range fingerboard provides additional upper register for soloing. The neck-through design is a 7-piece construction, primarily of Rock Maple for stability with three Walnut stringers. The string spacing is wide and the scale lengths are optimal for each string configuration. The single soapbar pickup can be split to increase its sonic versatility.

The combination of a Honduras Mahogany body core, Rock Maple neck, and an Ebony fingerboard provides a rich sonic spectrum with exceptionally defined lows, mids and highs. A Birdseye Maple fingerboard is optional for a brighter slap tone, or a Rosewood fingerboard may be used for a warmer tone. You may custom tailor the sonic quality of your instrument by your selection of exotic cap woods. An upcharge for certain exotic woods may be necessary based on their current market cost.
